For more than 15 years LHV is based at 10 kms from Parthenay in the Deux-Sèvres and we know the French rules and regulations perfectly well. If there’s a job we can’t do, we will be more than glad to help you find someone who can.
Complete roof renovation
The complete renovation a very old cottage roof. The old roof construction was replaced by new laminated roofbeams. To gain height on the first floor, the roof insulation was placed on the outside of the rafters. The insulation used was “efisharking” 13 cm thick plates. (R=6) A really comfortable transformation.

Complete renovation of an old cottage
Here’s a complete renovation of an old Deux-Sévrien cottage. The works have been rigorous. Replacement of the roof and all floors on the first floor, insulation of the exterior walls, replacement of all doors and windows, installation of new separation walls, installation of kitchen and bathroom, and finally painting. This project is still in progress.

The renovation of a wooden house
This lovely house has been built by one of our not so serious concurrence using pine boards of very poor quality. Few years after its construction LHV has replaced the existing boards with douglas first quality douglas boards. This has made the difference. Today, several years later, the house is still good looking.
